DefenseWeb Teams with Sentek Consulting to Win U.S. Navy Contract Vehicle for Weapons Acquisition and Life Cycle Support Services
SAN DIEGO, June 09, 2005 - DefenseWeb Technologies, a premier custom software developer and systems integrator serving Department of Defense (DoD) organizations, today announced that it successfully teamed with Sentek Consulting to win an IDIQ contract with the U.S Navy to provide support services for weapon systems acquisition and life-cycle support. As part of the Sentek team, DefenseWeb will provide comprehensive Web application development services to the U.S. Navy.
Sentek Consulting and DefenseWeb won the contract vehicle under the U.S. Navy’s SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) acquisition program for services procurements. The Government estimates a maximum of $5,300,000,000 of services will be procured per year via orders issued under the SeaPort-e IDIQ contract.
As part of DefenseWeb’s overall growth strategy, the company is increasing its range of established, readily accessible contract vehicles available to DoD organizations and governmental agencies to further streamline the contracting process and improve access to DefenseWeb’s products and services. In addition to the new SeaPort-e vehicle, DefenseWeb has access to the GSA Schedule (DoD), HR Solutions (US Army), and Millennia Personnel Community Automation Services (US Army) contracts.
