In early 2007, Mr. Burke and the DefenseWeb management team successfully sold the company to Humana, Inc. (NYSE: HUM), a Fortune 100 healthcare insurance provider.

Mr. Pope’s diverse management background includes executive positions at Vivendi Universal Net USA, MP3.com, VisiCom Laboratories, and Horizon Technologies, Inc.

Kevin Herdman
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Herdman has over 17 years of experience as a certified public accountant in both public accounting and within the healthcare industry. Mr. Herdman worked for Deming, Malone, Livesay and Ostroff CPAs in Louisville, Kentucky for several years as an accounting and auditing manager before transitioning into the healthcare industry as the accounting manager of Humana Military Healthcare Services where he worked for seven years.

Maria Everhart Gaboury
Department Manager
Ms. Gaboury is a company Vice President, responsible for senior-level oversight of the execution and delivery efforts for the company’s Healthcare projects and applications for the Department of Defense’s TRICARE Management Activity/Military Health System (TMA/MHS), the Department of Veterans Affairs, and other Federal health care programs and support organizations. These programs provide critical solutions and support for Service Members, Veterans, and their Families. Ms. Gaboury directly oversees the technical delivery of Enterprise Information Portals, Case Management Systems, Clinical Information Systems, Business Process Automation Systems, Training Systems, and Decision Support Systems.

Ms. Nakhonthap is an experienced project management professional with over eight years experience in project management. Ms. Nakhonthap is responsible for the overall coordination and management of complex Internet software system development projects, budgets, project schedules and customer expectations. Ms. Nakhonthap has a proven track record for overseeing the successful development and implementation of web-based software development projects with revenue values of $1M to $3M.

Ms. O'Brien has over 10 years experience successfully leading technology teams and projects. She started her career as a Configuration Management Engineer for MP3.com, where she lead her team through the design and launch of several large-scale web applications and implementations. Ms. O'Brien transitioned to Project Management in 2004 where she led the development and launch of the first generation Army One Source web portal for DefenseWeb.

Randy Scott
Department Manager
Mr. Scott is responsible for DefenseWeb's computer, network, and security infrastructure. A Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Mr. Scott has over 16 years experience managing highly available and secure computer systems.
Before joining DefenseWeb Mr. Scott designed and built the data centers for several commercial and education based web sites. Mr. Scott served as the Internet Operations Manager and Data Center Manager at two previous companies, with a proven record of maintaining 99.99% uptime on various web based applications.
Mr. Scott also supported ship-based computer systems during six years of proud service in the United States Navy.

Stephen Smythe

As Department Manager for the Enterprise Portals and Training Solutions Department, Mr. Smythe oversees the development and maintenance of portals and training solutions that meet a variety of user needs. The Department develops portals that serve as case management and content management systems, subscription-based communication portals, and publically accessible information portals. Training curriculums have focused on application training and life skills.

Ms. Torgeson is responsible for project management and software development execution and delivery, new business development, and profit and loss performance for the company’s Military Family Programs Division. The Division is comprised of the following departments: Enterprise Portals and Training Solutions, Content Management Systems, Virtual Worlds Gaming, and Web 2.0. Ms. Torgeson has more than 18 years experience as a Program/Project Manager, with a proven track record for delivering quality solutions, improving customer satisfaction and achieving new business growth. She has managed cross functional project teams, including the implementation of complex enterprise hardware and software solutions for large volumes of users, as well as the integration efforts for third-party applications.

Mr. Valenzuela is a PMI Certified Project Management Professional with over 19 years of program and project management experience. He brings significant technology experience leading project and consulting teams at firms such as MP3.com/Napster, Gateway, IBM Global Services as well large insurance providers. Mr. Valenzuela earned his Computer Science degree at the U.S. Naval Academy and also served as a U.S. Naval Officer.
