How long have you been with DefenseWeb?
I started with DefenseWeb one year ago this week.
What drew you to working at DefenseWeb?
I was really drawn to DefenseWeb by its company values; the management team at DefenseWeb is really devoted to its employees, customers and overall success of its business. I like working for a small company because it enables you to get involved in more of the operational items day to day and really see how a company functions.
Describe your typical day at DefenseWeb.
I assist Doug Burke our CEO, Rick Pope our COO and management with operational tasks such as: travel, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, correspondence and other miscellaneous tasks. My job is to ensure that everyone else has what they need to do their job.
What's different about DefenseWeb that makes it a great place to work?
Everyone here has great work ethics, a friendly attitude and they all work very hard; I have never worked with so many dedicated employees. The caliber of people that DefenseWeb employs is great, there are so many people with the same career goals that come from different backgrounds, it’s nice to see such a diverse mix of people working as a team and accomplishing great things.
What do you like to do for fun?
I figure skate several times a week as well as take a comic book style art class. I love drawing and painting, movies and music. My husband and I recently purchased motorcycles and we are enjoying riding those around town.
